improve athletic ability

Have fun, develop skills and improve athletic ability in your child's favorite sport at Newman Summer Sports Camp. Every week rising 3rd through 7th grade athletes will be able to focus on a particular sport; these include football, basketball, baseball, soccer, track and field and volleyball. Campers will receive instruction from our knowledgeable and experienced varsity coaching staff in this new, half day experience. Your child will have the opportunity to put their newly acquired skills to use within age appropriate groups in cooperative and competitive games. Beginners to experienced athletes are all welcomed.

life skills

Your child will learn to build skills which resonate through life by engaging in sports. Teamwork, sportsmanship, healthy competition, dedication through practice and perseverance all build a good work ethic for the future.

experienced staff

All of our sports camps are led by Newman’s Varsity Head Coaches. With a low coach-to-athlete ratio and excellent facilities, your child will gain self-confidence while developing fundamental skills in a unique and enthusiastic environment. Newman coach Tracy Blackerby manages the camps supported by a staff of varsity coaches, assistant coaches, and camp counselors comprised of former and current Newman varsity athletes.
