With more than 20 years of experience in competitive swimming, Nu Wave is one of the most comprehensive instructional swimming programs in the Gulf South region. individual instruction

To ensure progress, all campers enrolled in the instructional program are required to swim. PreK through 2nd grade campers will receive instruction, Monday through Thursday, and 3rd through 6th grade campers will receive instruction three days a week. Each swimmer is assessed, providing instructors with the data they need to tailor lessons accordingly. The results of the final assessment are shared with parents so that they know which specific skills their child has learned.

Recreational Swim

3rd through 6th Grade campers will have the opportunity for twice weekly recreational swim. On these days campers will be able to come and enjoy a cool dip in the pool with their friends while also having the opportunity to play games and compete against each other in relays and other fun activities. Prior to being allowed to swim, all campers registered for Recreational Swim will be required to pass a swim test on their first day at the pool.

Building Confidence

Each instructional swim period begins with a lesson and ends with free swim. During free swim, instructors monitor from both in and out of the water to ensure the safety of all campers. The number of campers allowed in the pool at any given time is limited so that proper supervision can be maintained.
